Sara’s Teaching Philosophy

1. It should always be fun-whether preparing to play for the kindergarten class or a major international harp competition!

2. Each student has unique abilities- such a performing with A great stage presence, being a fast learner, having a beautiful tone quality, or being a great ensemble player. Sara will focus on each students natural strengths, and continue to build on them while also improving upon any weak areas.

3. Hard work pays off! Natural playing ability is not as important as having a great attitude and a willingness to learn. Sara .believes that a student can accomplish any musical aspiration they set their minds to, as long as they are willing to invest time and practice in an efficient way.
